disability advocacy worldwide.
Who we are
The Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation (FSNR) is Uganda’s top institution for disability inclusion. It began at the Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo (ITEK) and moved to the Uganda National Institute of Special Education (UNISE) in 1996. NAD later expanded facilities and provided scholarships for the community-based rehabilitation program.
