The Kyambogo University Andragogy Lab (KUAL) is a pioneering initiative that fosters inclusive, lifelong learning through innovative educational programs, community engagement, and technology-transfer partnerships to promote sustainable socio-economic development in Uganda.
The Disability Inclusive Entrepreneurship Training (DIET) Program, funded by the Aga Khan Foundation Uganda under the AKDN-COVID 19 Response EU Project, empowers students with disabilities at Kyambogo University by providing entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills to enhance their livelihoods post-pandemic.
The All WE See Is Possibility (AWSIP) Programme, funded by Royal Dutch Visio, empowers young people with low vision and blindness in Uganda through inclusive education and community engagement, aiming to unlock their full potential and ensure their societal inclusion.
The Hi-Tech Visual Technologies Resource Centre, funded by Royal Dutch Visio and launched under the AWSIP Programme, provides affordable assistive devices and training to enhance the educational experience for visually impaired individuals in Uganda.
The Inclusive e-Learning Initiative at Kyambogo University’s Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation, funded by Cyber School Technologies Solutions and Mastercard Foundation, aims to enable persons with disabilities to access and participate in e-learning through the provision of digital technologies and capacity building.
